GoPro HERO5/6/7 Configuration

The following are the recommended items (based on our own experience) for shooting with a GoPro camera.
EDIT 2/22/2020: As of this date, we are upgrading our recommendation to the GoPro HERO8 Black.  See the HERO8 setup page for more information
Original message:
As you will note from our "Recommended Equipment" page, we still have the HERO5 Black as the recommended camera.  We previously tested the HERO6 Black and do not recommend it due to instability issues.  We are still in the process of testing the HERO7 Black in various game situations, but feel comfortable recommending the following configuration and setup, based on quality alone.  For the best quality video, we recommend the HERO7 Black.  However, we are still unsure of stability at this time.  And while the HERO7 Black has live streaming capabilities, we cannot recommend it due to its vast limitations.  For live streaming while recording, please see our setup page for the Mevo camera.
