If you've heard of our Husky Slyder, the "Extra" Husky is exactly what you would expect. We took our standard Husky and made it longer, wider, and thicker (BEEF CAKE!!). Made with 12 gauge Stainless Steel, this guy is 0.025" thicker than our standard products. Combine that with the slightly more than 6" long shelf, Extra Husky can hold the weight and keep it in place.
While this Husky is designed to accommodate nearly any camera, the curved opening of the Slyder support bar has been specifically designed to line up with the center of a lens on the Mevo Core camera. This offers an extra layer of protection against some of those flimsy fences. And if you want to take it a step further, the geometry of the support bar has been designed to allow (2) Extra Huskies to be stacked together, sandwiching the Mevo Core in the middle for some serious cage-like support. Now that's Extra Extra Husky!
All of the hardware is provide in this kit to either replace an existing Slyder bar, or mount with an existing Slyder.
